Can I sue my employer for retaliation?

An employee can certainly sue an employer for retaliation. If we’re talking about a case for minimum wages or overtime and an employee complains about not getting paid the minimum wages or the overtime, retaliation will arise under the same set of laws if that employer takes an adverse action against you like firing you, demoting you, suspending you, et cetera.
