My employer requires me to sign an arbitration agreement. Should I do it?

You don’t have to sign an arbitration agreement, however, there may be negative consequences if you refuse to sign. Courts have consistently held that employers can rescind a job offer or to fire an existing employee who refuses to sign an arbitration agreement.

So, depending on your relationship with your employer or how important that job for you, you have to weigh cost and benefits. Hopefully, if you have a good relationship with your employer or perspective employer, you can sit down and come up with more reasonable terms that are more balanced.
